Chase The Wild are an Australian-inspired six-piece indie rock outfit from Bristol, UK. Taking influence from bands such as Ocean Alley, Sticky Fingers and Mako Road, they blend the laid-back, sun-soaked groove of Australian indie with the energy of the UK live music scene to create a sound that sits somewhere between surf-indie and alternative rock.

Formed in late 2023, the band have quickly built momentum with their energetic live shows and charismatic stage presence, led by frontman Freddie’s engaging crowd interaction. In a short space of time, Chase The Wild have played some of the South West’s most loved venues, including Thekla twice supporting Adult Leisure and Pentire, both sold out shows. The band also celebrated the release of their debut EP with a sold-out headline show at The Croft in Bristol, marking their biggest show to date.

Chase The Wild have now released five singles, collecting over 70,000 streams across platforms and gaining radio play on stations such as BBC Introducing in the South West and BBC Radio Bristol. Their debut EP Go On Home showcases the band’s range, from the upbeat groove of “Sticky Situation” to the emotional punch of “Face the Truth”, telling stories of love, heartbreak and self-discovery through the lens of someone still figuring themselves out.
